new york city looks good, syracuse looks good. boston, your temperatures reaching into the low 60s. but the rain is going to be heavy at times, right at the gulf through tampa and it's extending down in the miami area as well. we have the rain coming right up from the keys right through miami. you're going to see delays out of this at the airports, miami, orlando, tampa too. more on that in a little bit. but the flood warnings because of the melting snow is still out there in the areas shaded in bright green. let me show you the reason why. take a look at this map. snowfall on the ground. the liquid equivalent to the snow that it's carrying is about 6 to 10 inches in the bright shaded pink. so north dakota, south dakota, parts of machine miniminnesota, have what equates to about 10 inches of rainwater on the ground. when it starts to melt today and tomorrow we have flooding concerns. purple blocks looking at major flooding. as for the rest of the region we do have a little light rain coming down. most of it is shy of the water basin but you can see the temperatures now still below f
